Sir Keith Pearson is independent adviser to the Department of Health on the recovery of NHS costs from overseas visitors and migrants.
He was appointed as Chair of Health Education England in June 2012 and is a former Chair of NHS East of England and the NHS Confederation. He has more than 30 years’ experience in both the public and private healthcare sectors in England and abroad.
Sir Keith, who was influential in developing the NHS Constitution, received a Knighthood in June 2010 for services to healthcare.
